Keep That Fresh Look All Day

Today's life is very hectic. Jobs are requiring more and more hours, raising children takes a lot of time, and the daily activities of living complete the last minutes of our busy day. It is hard to look energized and refreshed with the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced life.

Most people usually are tired, worn out and look absolutely beat down. Their eyes look tired and are ringed by dark circles. Stress is written all over their face. This is why many people age more quickly in their face than in any other part of the body.

It is very important to look energized and refreshed all day, every day. Looking tired is a sign of stress and disorganization in your life. Often, if you have dark circles under your eyes, you look sick or as if you have problems that kept you up too late. People see dark circles under your eyes and think the worst. No one takes the time to consider the true reasons for dark circles. Those dark, ugly circles can cause people to speculate and gossip about you.

There are many techniques that can help you look more energized and refreshed. Daily stretching, exercising, invigorating showers, meditation, warm baths with relaxing bath salts or bubbles, body messages and aromatherapy are all common therapies that can help you feel alive and less stressed. These treatments work, but they can cost a lot of money and can take up valuable time that you dont have to spare. So what can you do?

When a person is feeling tired, worn out or exhausted, they tend to get dark circles under the eyes. When you do not get enough sleep, the muscles around the eye relax or lose their tone. When this happens, water builds up and creates a puffy look. This puffy look can also appear as dark circles. This is especially true for older people because aging is another cause of the dark cycles.

Unfortunately, many people also inherit dark circles. Genetics can cause you to have an ugly, dark puffiness below your eyes. If your mother, father, grandmother or grandfather had dark circles under their eyes, chances are you will also have them.

Dark circles can also be caused by extreme allergies. The buildup of watery fluids in the eyes can cause the eyes to have the dark circle appearance.

According to Dr. Fred Alexander, a specialist in eye treatments, Professionally, Ive seen these circles disappear in individuals who stopped drinking high amounts of coffee and alcohol, increased their water intake and started eating a healthy diet that includes lots of raw fruits and vegetables.

Additionally, if you are a person who eats meat two to three times per day in moderate to large amounts and not drinking plenty of water, your kidneys may be signaling you that theyre a bit tired of working that hard! High protein diets will cause your kidneys to work harder than if you were eating less meat and more good carbohydrates, veggies and fruit! If you suspect environmental allergies to be the culprit, address the problem via an allergy/environmental healthy specialist.

For hundreds of years, people have tried everything from cucumber juice to expensive chemical peels and plastic surgery to try to be rid of their dark circles. Most of these solutions, including surgery and chemical peels, are only temporary at best. Sometimes, they do more harm than good because temporary or permanent scaring can occur from surgery or allergic reactions can occur as a result of using chemical peels or cucumber juice.
