Strange issue...

So, I uninstall the current standard (3Meg) version.

Then, when I go to install this version with DM, I browse and select the DocumentsToGo.alx but it only shows up in DM as a file size of 72K! I installed it and PDF2Go (normal 600K or so size) anyway and only PD2Go shows up as being installed.

Anyone know what would cause this?

I reinstalled the standard version just fine afterwards.

Thanks!

I will check it out later but when I made the .alx file I re tested it on my own device by un installing the previous version and installing this one. I had no issues also tested it twice. But will check the file.

It might be some sort of (relative) path problem, but all the CODs (2.89 meg worth) are in the same folder with the ALX and I left the folder name as it was in the zip/rar.

Also, I dont understand why it wouldnt have thrown a "COD not found" kind of error. Odd.

Thanks for looking into it!

Hey by any chance did you get an problems while extracting? Sometimes this will happen because the folder name is too many characters. Try to extract it again this time use the extract here option and not the extract to. I looked into it and also re installed on my device and a simulator and it worked fine. Hope this might help
Oh yeah one more thing if this does not work for you. I have also included the .jad file for ota install. So just copy the folder to your phone. Delete the .alx file on the copied folder on your device its just that sometimes it might act weird. Also make sure the version that came with your device is un installed first. The ota install should not give any issues. Once copied to your device find the folder and click on the .jad file and it will load the .cod files.

Thanks frogz.

I'm not seeing any JAD/JAR files in the archive - only the alx and cods.

I'll re-download to make sure I'm looking at the right one.

Sorry, I opened the "fresh" zip file directly from the Firefox download list and no JAD/JAR of any kind.

Oh, and no problems extracting. I've extracted many files with folder and filenames MUCH longer/deeper than this over the years.
