Looking for some serious help here guys. I'm keen to have a text-to voice package running on my 8520 for when I'm driving (it's my job) but I can't find a package that acually delivers. Has anyone got a recommendation? Cheers

Have you tried drive safely?

There is a free lite version on App World and a full comercial version

I think Vlingo is the best product out there. It is very easy to use. It provides TTS and STT.

For example, you can press & hold side button and say, "create email to Jim Smith  subject meeting on Thursday  message please arrange for us to meet in your office at 9 o'clock in the morning period thanks comma

Then it creates an email that reads
To: Jim Smith
Subject Meeting
Please arrange for us to meet in your office at 9:00 in the morning.
Thanks,
email sig

It will read incoming SMS and email. You can also say things like, "search concert tickets" or "create note to self - which gives you the choice of an email, SMS, or recording sent directly to you.

It is a commercial product - one I paid for. And, since the voice recognition goes through their server each time for recognition - it is difficult to hack.

I also use this with my BlueTooth car speaker - BlueAnt. The two work together great!
