try to open the ring with spatula or simcard.
than tookoff the pearl and blow it hard (remmember to not include your saliva) and put it together again.

try removing the battery for a few minutes. I have had this problem before and a battery pull worked for me. if it doesnt, you probably need a replacement device.Author:

lock the phone, put it face down on a piece of paper and make round movements fast. That has often removed many of my problems. :)
