You do start off with 50 beans. You can also use your promote link for beans as well as by donating which also keep the site alive and helps with maintainence and server cost.

I'm a bit confused. I uploaded some wallpapers, but didn't get any beans for them. Do they need to be approved by a moderator? Or do I get beans when someone downloads? In the description there is nothing like this mentioned. :S

I don't think you get beans for wallpapers, only blackberry related stuff in the Games, Themes And Software sections, and they have to be attachments, such as a .zip file, if they are OTA links or links to rapidshare this is not an attachment and will not get beans

I understand the process, but what i dont understand is how i went from 43 beans one day to 2 beans the next without downloading that many things? Are the 50 when you join only good for that first day?

Hey dude. Send a pm to bb818 to find out how your beans were consumes. I am pretty sure its 1 beans per downloaded attachment not sure if some consume 2 beans. Keep in mind that each attachment is counted as beans used. So if someone uploads a file with separate .alx and .cod files that will consume more beans than if that file was a single .zip file. Send a pm to the super mod as I can't see your profile and what you downloaded.

I sure am glad torrent sites do not have beans or they would be dead. It is not like most of the stuff here is free ware because it is not. I wasted a boat load of the said Beans trying to find a good ringtone. So you download them and listen to them instead of saving them and you use up beans for no good reason. I do appreciate the effort you all have put into this by either finding or cracking the apps or programs but I really do not like a bean or monetary amount for basically stolen apps or programs. Just my two cents

Any kinds, Games go into Blackberry Games Section under the correct model
or if you're a VIP you can post them in the VIP Games section
Themes like games go into the Blackberry Themes section under the relevant model
Apps and blackberry related software go into the Blackberry Software section
Every time you post one of these you will earn beans

Are you trying to download from the VIP section? Most of the games there have a high reading access requirement (as you level up conqueror, vip ....etc your reading access increases.
Games in the normal section can be downloaded by anyone with beans above 0

Well then this is screwy, because I downloaded only two files and it says I can't download any more. So it is obvious that I did not get 50 beans when I registered or each download cost me 50 Beans, Which one is it?

You start with 50 beans. Downloads cost 1 bean each, VIP games cost 10 beans each if you have enough reading access.

No, but like any themes/ apps/games you need to check that they aren't already posted.
Any duplicate posts (same version) if found may be deleted and you may lose the beans you earned for that upload
Last point to remember some of the mods myself included hate games/themes/apps posted with no description and screenshots for themes/games
Posts like that also stand a very high chance of being deleted
To be fair you yourself would hate to download something waist a bean and find out last minute it doesn't work for you

You may download the same content repeated every download time will be consumed a bean.
