That's a great tool to have in the arsenal for owning a Blackberry. I found that one time that I bricked my phone was when I didn't manually wipe it with a 3rd party app before updating the OS. It is a must have!

The easiest way to wipe your blackberry is by using JL-Cmder
Google it.
NOTE: Do NOT use JL_Cmder or Any other resource to wipe your device if your device is working fine and are simply attempting to upgrade your OS and you can't get the OS to load. Doing so will most likely render your device useless until you find the root cause of why the OS will not load to the device. Generally, this is caused by not deleting the vendor.xml file(s)Author:
